Training and advice on legislation

We keep you up to date with changes in legislation and case law. We provide regular seminars and forums and bespoke training on employment issues including equal opportunities and health and safety compliance. Examples recently include;

  • A full day training on a "Tribunal Case" for HR managers using a historic case.
  • Detailed briefings and forum events on new age discrimination legislation.
  • A training day on "managing dismissals" using case studies.
In-house training:

A cost-effective way of providing your HR professionals and managers with essential employment law. During January, February and March 2012 we are offering the following training seminars at a discounted rate:

  • Managing fair dismissals;
  • Managing redundancy;
  • Managing malingerers and the genuinely sick;
  • Ensuring compliance with the Bribery Act 2010.

We can tailor these one hour seminars to suit your company’s precise needs. The cost for each seminar is £350 plus VAT. The seminars are suitable for up to 20 people and are held at your premises.

These seminars are worth 1 CPD point. All seminars take place at our offices at 5000 Oxford Business Park South, Oxford, OX4 2BH, where there is ample free parking. Attendees are asked to arrive at 12.30 for a sandwich lunch, seminars commence at 1pm and finish by 2 pm.          A review of recent case law and new and forthcoming legislation, including pension     reforms – all levels

At the end of each of our seminars the employment team will be available from 2-3 pm on a first come first served basis to give free advice on any employment law issues you are facing (advice will be limited to 15 minutes per person).
