We regularly advise the third sector on relationships with others both within the sector and outside it. Such relationships may have very different aims.
For example, pooling resources with similar third sector bodies permits efficient use of the parties resources and avoids duplication.
Relationships outside the sector fall into many categories ranging from simple contractual arrangements for purchasing through to partnering with commercial bodies for projects such as product endorsement or commercialisation of research. Our in-depth commercial expertise assures clients of experience in all forms of third-party relationships.
Examples of our work in this area include:
- Joint working arrangements. (In the context of legacy admin/legacy disputes, we encourage all charitable beneficiaries to join in obtaining legal advice, to facilitate communication between the charities and to enable the charities to share the legal costs between them. We also put charities who are not already members of the ILM and EAPG (European Association of Planned Giving) in touch with those organisations and we work with those organisations to draw together those from the third sector).
