Support vacancies 

The firm is growing rapidly, and has recently expanded into new headquarters premises at the Oxford Business Park. We need organised, proactive legal secretaries to help support our legal teams as we expand.

We continually invest in and develop our support teams in order to ensure the best possible support for our lawyers and keep our position at the forefront of modern law. Secretarial support, facilities management, information technology, accounts and human resources teams guarantee the functional efficiency of Henmans - and the delivery of optimum support for our legal teams.

Case management developer

(12 month fixed term contract)

We require an experienced and highly motivated SolCase/Visualfiles Developer. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience developing, testing and implementing SolCase and/or Visualfiles within a law firm environment.

Some experience of SOS Connect would be desirable but is not essential.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day to day maintenance of a wide range of case types and must have sound knowledge of Solcase to be able to hit the ground running.

Marketing executive

This is an interesting role providing support to the Head of Marketing on a range of marketing and PR activities. The role encompasses organising seminars and managing client hospitality events, maintaining the marketing database, designing marketing documents, drafting press releases and updating our website. The role also involves liaising with staff and working with practice groups across the firm.  Part of the role will be to cover a period of maternity leave for the head of marketing when the successful candidate will have management responsibilities for the marketing department, reporting to the managing partner.  

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills; good writing skills, including accurate spelling and grammar; organisational abilities; be able to work in a demanding environment and demonstrate a proactive, adaptable and flexible approach.  At least three years experience of working in marketing is essential, preferably in a professional services environment.  Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are also necessary for this role. A CIM qualification and event management experience would be advantageous.  

Legal secretaries

We are always keen to hear from highly motivated legal secretaries. Candidates must be organised, proactive, able to use their own initiative and have a flexible approach to working in an open plan environment. Audio typing speeds of 60+ wpm using Microsoft products are essential. Training will be given on our systems.
