The dispute resolution team is a specialist team of 5 partners and 11 lawyers in total, who advise on a broad spectrum of matters affecting rural clients.
The department has represented both rural businesses and individuals in matters which include:
- commercial and contractual disputes
- commercial and residential landlord and tenant matters (for example lease renewals, forfeiture, recovery of rent arrears)
- debt recovery
- company disputes
- disputes as to ownership of land (including boundary and neighbour disputes and disputes over title)
- eviction of squatters
- compulsory purchase
Our team handles matters in the County Court and High Court as well as proceedings before the Land Registry Adjudicator, and has extensive experience of resolving disputes via mediation.
The team possesses a considerable breadth of experience, and focuses on providing targeted advice at an early stage to help clients to resolve disputes constructively.
