Our professional indemnity team, led by Duncan Crine and Sarah Foster, acts for an increasing number of insurers including the St Paul Travelers, Hiscox, Zurich Professional and Marketform.
We defend claims against professionals based in London, the Home Counties and south of England. We have substantial experience in defending claims for solicitors, accountants, surveyors and insurance brokers, among other professions and purchasers of indemnity insurance products. We have considerable expertise in advising on insurance disputes. In addition we field a specialist team that handles disputes arising out of personal injury claims.
We make a point of handling claims proactively at a senior level, with closely supervised assistance from more junior solicitors where appropriate. Our dedicated team approach gives you the benefit of our entire pool of knowledge, and our team working practices ensure that you receive exceptional quality of service at an optimal level of cost-effectiveness.
We provide the benefits of a low cost base in an environment to which we can attract the talented lawyers who are crucial to our success. Members of the team have joined from City firms such as Beachcroft Wansbroughs, Herbert Smith and Penningtons. However, we are close enough to London (one hour train journey) that we expect to be in London for a day a week, or more frequently in accordance with our clients' needs.
