It is often possible to minimise or completely eliminate liability to inheritance tax by varying a person’s Will or the intestacy rules applying after they die, saving many thousands of pounds.
Occasionally Wills are inappropriate, make inadequate provision for dependants, or there is doubt about the circumstances surrounding the making of the Will. We have a specialist litigation team who will deal with any contentious probate cases effectively and efficiently.
