Henmans LLP expands into new Oxford Business Park headquarters

02 October 2006

Henmans LLP is proud to mark a new era in its expansion and development by moving its two offices under one roof at the Oxford Business Park from April 2007. This move will see the rapidly growing firm join some of Oxford’s best known names and national organisations, including Oxfam, Royal Bank of Scotland, Royal Mail, Electrocomponents, Manches, Vodafone and Harley Davidson. The new building will take up to 220 staff, giving the firm room for its planned expansion over the next five years.

Julia Iball, managing partner, commented, “The firm has ambitious plans for the future, and we believe that this move places a marker very firmly in the sand as to our intentions. Oxford has a strong commercial community, and some of the largest companies in the country are based within easy reach – we want to take advantage of that and build the firm to be a strong local presence.”

Richard Shallard, senior partner, added, “We are consolidating our position as a firm very proud of its roots in Oxford and Oxfordshire and with strong local connections. We sponsor the Ashmolean, the Oxford Children’s Hospital and the Oxford Playhouse, institutions that represent some of the best Oxford has to offer. We also sponsor small clubs and organisations such as the Oxford Welsh Male Voice Choir, the Woodstock junior tennis and Oxford Cricket Club, as we believe community organisations such as these are a critical part of local life. This move is not a move away from local communities, and we plan to continue to be very much involved.”
