Following a competitive tender process, Cancer Research UK has appointed Henmans LLP solicitors as its principal legal adviser for legacy administration advice. Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.
Henmans head of Charities, Nigel Roots, said, “Our appointment as Cancer Research UK’s principal adviser is a testament to our experience and expertise in the Third Sector. We have a business model which is designed to reduce the legal spend of charities and enhance their internal processes. It is this proactive approach which separated us from the competition. We are looking forward to developing further our relationship with Cancer Research UK over the coming years. ”
Cancer Research UK put out a competitive tender over the summer for places on its legacy administration panel. The tender process was concluded in December with the charity choosing to appoint Henmans as its principal adviser to advise specifically on legacy administration matters.
