As part of our succession planning we are seeking to appoint a senior property lawyer. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience and be a member of a highly regarded property practice. You will be looking to join a firm with a clear route to partnership with secure sources of challenging work. Whilst agricultural property experience would be helpful it is not essential. You will be accustomed to dealing with clients at a senior level and have a track record of establishing and maintaining client relationships.
An opportunity has arisen for an assistant solicitor to join this highly regarded claimant clinical negligence team.
The successful candidate will have no more than 3 PQE and will be able to demonstrate previous experience and commitment to clinical negligence work for the claimant. Ideally, will be currently working in an established clinical negligence department.
The role will involve assisting Cecily Cameron, head of clinical negligence, and the other senior solicitors in this expanding team, which has a very substantial caseload of high quality work. This vacancy will provide the successful candidate with a rare opportunity to develop a career in clinical negligence progressing to panel membership, and also the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the team, which is recognised by Chambers and the Legal 500.

The role involves handling primarily corporate transactions, in a busy department with a good flow of deals and being a "trusted adviser" to a wide range of SME owners. Clients range from UK operations of multinational groups to early stage entrepreneurial companies. There is a strong ethos of knowledge sharing in the Department and a great team spirit.
The successful highly motivated candidate is likely to have at least 6-8 years PQE and would be expected to have strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills and relish the challenges of delivering a high quality service, as well as being involved in the marketing, development and management of the department. A client following would be advantageous.
An ambitious solicitor is required for the non contentious charities team. A finalist in the STEP Charity Team of the Year Awards, the practice is recognised as one of the leading firms in the charity sector. Our clients include many of the top 50 charities. The successful applicant will be also be responsible for supervising junior members of the team in providing a range of legal services to the charity sector including constitutional advice and support to the corporate and property teams. The work is varied and challenging.
Joining an expanding team of dedicated individuals the successful candidate will have a proven ability working in a private client or corporate environment and will have strong experience of working with charity clients. The STEP qualification or a willingness to work towards it is required.
