James handles a wide variety of claims for both employer and employee clients. He has conducted litigation on a wide range of issues from discrimination to unfair dismissal in the Employment Tribunal. James is also experienced in advising and training managers and HR professionals in employment law issues. James specialises in issues involving employee and worker status.
Significant matters he has handled include:
- Conducting a reported case to the Court of Appeal.
- Dealing with the termination issues for senior managers for a FTSE 100 Client.
James trained at Clarks in Reading and qualified in 1996. He joined Henmans in 2005.
James is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has published articles on various employment related subjects in The Employment Lawyer, the NLJ, The Construction Specialist's Newsletter and various employment law websites.
