Charlotte specialises in residential property work.  She deals with freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, including remortgages, first registrations of title, tenancy agreements, deeds of variation and transfers of equity.   

Charlotte has acted on a variety of sales and purchases ranging from starter homes requiring shared equity schemes to executive newbuilds and country estates of high value. 

She works closely with our family and private client departments, advising charities and individuals in respect of their property requirements.  

Significant recent transactions included:-

  • Purchase of a country residence for an individual - £1.3million
  • Dealing with assignments of leases for a telecommunications company
  • Voluntary first registration of a rural estate
  • Investigating overrage possibilities in respect of a large village property and imposing new restrictive covenants
  • Sale of London residence for £1.8 million
  • Deed of easement granting a right of way for an individual property owner over common land owned by a Parish Council
  • Deed of Rectification amending title plans

Charlotte trained at Marshall & Galpin, qualifying as a legal executive in 2004.  She became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and Commissioner for Oaths in 2006.  Charlotte was a team manager of a conveyancing team in Banbury before joining Henmans in January 2008.
