Tom joins our growing commercial litigation group, also handling property litigation. Tom has specialised in commercial litigation for overseven years, with experience of working for a variety of companies from PLCs to small entrepreneurs. This has includedadvising a multinational telecommunications plc, a multinational supplier of beers and wines, a national provider of gas and electricity and a number of commercial agents.
Melissa joins the Henmans private client team from Barrett & Co in Reading, and specialises in complex trust and estate planning. The Henmans private client team is the largest in Oxford and handles complex tax work for high net worth individuals.
Julia Iball, managing partner, commented, We are continuing to focus on expanding our corporate teams and the work we do for commercial clients, and Stephen and Tom will be great assets with the experience they have. Our private client team is very highly regarded for its difficult and interesting tax work, so Melissas arrival will increase the strength in depth that we regard as our trademark. The firm has been growing in all directions since the move to new premises, and its very exciting to be managing it at this point in its development!
